QRakshak is a safety-first QR platform built in India. It helps a stranger with a phone reach the right people in an emergency, while keeping personal data masked by default.

Safety for every Indian — affordable, accessible, and reliable.
QRakshak exists so that a bystander can help a person in trouble. We keep the helper side free of app installs, keep personal data masked by default, and keep the path to family contacts short. The product is an aid, not a guarantee, and we design it that way on purpose.
The problem we solve
- A crash with a locked phone leaves bystanders with no way to reach family.
- A lost child in a crowd has no verified route back to a guardian.
- A senior with dementia may not be able to give a home address.
- Harassment needs a discreet way to call for help that never exposes a phone number.
- A misplaced bag has no safe way back to its owner.
Today those situations are handled with static information: a number on a lock screen, a name and address on a bag tag, or a note in a pocket. Those notes leak private details and go stale. QRakshak replaces them with an opaque token and a masked page behind the scan.
Our story
An early-stage platform, built honestly and in the open.
QRakshak began from a simple observation: the information people already print on their belongings is easy to misuse and hard to keep current. A QR code on its own does not fix that, because a plain link has no privacy, no escalation, and no expiry.
We are an early-stage team building the platform in India. The product is in active development, and this site describes only what the platform does today. We publish numbers and capabilities when they are real, and we leave them out when they are not.

Safety first
Every decision starts with whether it makes someone safer. Failover, monitoring, and safety tests are not the parts we skip when a deadline gets close.
Privacy by design
Personal data is minimised, encrypted, and masked. We do not expose a phone number to a scanner, and we do not monetise personal data.
Simple for all
Large text, clear buttons, voice support, and a PIN instead of an OTP, so a grandparent or a child can use the product without training.
No paywall on emergency
Scanning a QR, reaching family, and the 112 dial option stay available even when a licence is inactive. Emergency help is never held back for payment.
