Terms of Service

Last updated: Draft — lawyer review pending · Draft (lawyer review pending)

1. What the service is

QRakshak is a safety-first QR platform: scan a QR to see the owner's masked contact, send an alert to the family, and when needed use an 112 dial intent (no auto-dial).

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for the security of your account and PIN.

3. Acceptable use

Stalking, harassment, or surveilling anyone is strictly prohibited. This is a safety product — misuse can result in the account being closed immediately.

4. Payments

License and payment terms are provided separately. See the Refund Policy for refunds.

5. Availability

We target 99.99% uptime, but during the launch phase this is not guaranteed. The service is provided on a “best effort” basis.

6. Limits of liability

QRakshak is not a replacement for emergency services. We provide a 112 dial intent, but cannot guarantee that the call connects. Alerts go through third-party providers (email, push, voice) — 100% delivery cannot be guaranteed.

7. Intellectual property

The platform and the “QRakshak” trademark are ours. Your data remains yours — an export option is available.

8. Closing an account

We may close an account for misuse. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction: [city — lawyer to fill in].

10. Changes

Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance.
